Okay, just so those in the planning are clear, August 31st seems to be the clearest day on the calendar for send-off'in and carousing. There might be an earlier day but I can say with clarity, that the 31st is clear. The 30th might be a good date too, but that all depends on Battletech and how long that goes because I will be in attendance.

Aside from that, I'm still basking in the glow of my cool mini-keyboard, made by Zippy ;) You can see its beauty to the left ;) Anyway, I let my ice cream melt while doing updates here and there to the site, so there we are. And I finished the Roast Beef Sandwich today and I am in no hurry to replace it. If I see Roast Beef again in the next two weeks, its too damn soon.

Anyway, am just finishing up a run through of Hackers on DVD and I am happy to report that, if I have interpreted the language correctly, it looks like its a go for a shuttle and eventual ship in Kentucky, shuttled off the Avenger of-course ;) So, much must be done and thought out on that subject, but from current projections, it looks like I'll be taking the center seat, ricky will be taking the XO post, and about 12-16 other people will be signing aboard in October ;) So we've got a good start already. Y'see, on Avenger, we do things quickly, directly and while we are always in a hurry, we are never in haste. (Thanks Hank McCoy)

Anyway, I'm looking forward to the move and now that I've got some pics of the place and know that there is an oldtime cast iron bath there (with claw feet) for taking luxurious baths, I again will be labeled a bad fremen ;) Anyway, You guys can expect some great field pics of the area on arrival and some cool stuff content wise in the near future.
