Long Time No See Kids!
Wow! Two months and not a single post from
me here on the good ol' boat! A -freaking- Mazing.
But then again, these things can happen when you go off on a ship of your
own ;)
That said, I really do miss posting here oft times, but between the Hathor,
Starfleet Academy's Office of Art & Graphics, Work and My attempts
at social living, it doesn't afford me much time to post here like I used
to.
So I'm taking the opportunity to do so tonight and as you can see I don't
really have much to say. Except...
I myself am doing okay for the moment. Things were a little tense for
a while and my ability to share in therapy wasn't looking good, but Therapy
has improved SO much and other area's of my life are finally taming out
a bit.
Earlier this month I made a weekend trip up to Chicago (Aurora, Glen Ellyn?)
to visit my friend Matt for his birthday, y'know, the fiery ritual of
carousel ;) And after nearly 16 years of missing opportunities to go visit
him, I finally did. And it only cost me a little body heat, some sanity,
a blown tire and 14-15 hours roundtrip on an 8 Hr round trip journey.
But I had *ALOT* of fun once I'd gotten there... except when my teeth
started giving me grief (two wisdom teeth, upper and lower on left side
of head) and I had to numb up the area and knock myself out for a few
hours till I could bear the pain again.
Aside from that, last week, my hormone shipment was delayed and I got
a good dose of abdominal cramps like you wouldn't frigging believe (Well
some of you would ;) ). Three hours and a heating pad later, I was able
to move from my fetal position on the couch. Yay!
In other news the Hathor is gearing up this saturday for a command staff
meeting and then we'll be returning to meetings and activities after a
fairly long hiatus. In that time we lost a few people do to course differences
but we're recovering nicely by the reports I'm seeing from my staff. Its
unfortunate, but sometimes you just have to agree on what's best. So on
to better horizons for both groups o peoples.
And that's the news that is fit to print for the moment. You may expect
more from me, when you see from me ;)
